Our purpose

We exist because carrying too much for too long doesn't mean something is wrong with you, it means you're human. What helps isn't more advice. It's something gentle enough to actually meet you where you are.

Our vision

To be a trusted place women turn to feel seen, understood, and hopeful life can feel lighter.

Our mission

To offer women gentle, experience-backed resources for calm, clarity, and simpler living.

Hi, I'm Chloe

I'm the founder of The Simplified Self.

I know what it’s like when wellbeing advice feels like another thing that you’re failing at.

After years of saying yes, doing more and trying to keep up with everything, I reached a point in my own life that became unsustainable. My body said stop. What followed was a a slow shift. Learning to be kinder to myself. Letting go of the idea I had to hold everything together. Realising I wasn't failing. I was human.

My background is in psychology, and I spent more than a decade working directly with people through some of the hardest and most complicated parts of their lives. That sits at the heart of The Simplified Self.

I know how unhelpful wellbeing advice can feel when it simply gives you another list of things you should be doing. Which is why The Simplified Self is a different kind of wellbeing and takes a gentler approach. It was born from my professional experience and own lived experience of what happens when life becomes too much.

I'm glad you've found your way here.

The Simplified Self

There’s no shortage of wellbeing advice.

The problem is that so much of it assumes you have the time, energy and headspace to research what’s going on, sort through conflicting advice, remember what you’ve learned and then build another routine around it.

That can be a fairly big ask when you’re already running low.

The Simplified Self makes useful wellbeing information easier to understand and practical tools easier to come back to.

Something you can spend five minutes with when five minutes is what you have. Something you can explore more deeply when you want to.

The aim isn’t to give you more to keep up with. It’s to make what’s already complicated feel a little easier to navigate.
